|After law school graduation in 1978, Mr. Farrell practiced with a trial firm in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1980, he returned to Florida and joined the firm of Fuller & Johnson, P.A. which soon became Fuller, Johnson & Farrell, P.A. where he continued his trial practice until 2007. He currently has his own firm, Patrick J. Farrell, Jr., LLC, and specializes in mediations, arbitrations and civil trial law.
Mr. Farrell has been a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer since 1989, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator since 1998 and a Florida Supreme Court qualified arbitrator.
He has over 30 years of trial experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal courts in a broad range of general and complex civil cases, including product liability, professional malpractice, medical malpractice, nursing home, environmental, automotive, condominium, construction, insurance coverage, bad faith, civil rights, employment and commercial litigation matters. His broad trial and litigation experience enhance his ability to successfully resolve disputes as a trial lawyer, mediator and arbitrator.
Mr. Farrell is admitted to practice in all Florida and Georgia state courts and the United States District Courts, Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. He was selected to Leading Florida Attorneys, and for several consecutive years, has been selected as one of Florida’s Super Lawyers. In addition he has been selected to the Florida Circuit-Civil Mediator Society as well as The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. He received the American Board of Trial Advocates, Tallahassee Chapter, First Annual Civility Award, and is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Farrell is married and has three adult children and six grandchildren. He serves on the Board of Visitors for Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law. He volunteers with the Guardian Ad Litem Program. Mr. Farrell is a member and Elder of Faith Presbyterian Church where he works with the church youth and teaches Sunday School. He also served on the Permanent Judicial Commission of the Presbytery of Florida. He enjoys fishing and pointing dogs.
